Our unwavering commitment to organic excellence
For over two decades, Wynnfarm has cultivated high-quality sage with a deep commitment to organic methods. Discover the heart of our farming—a hands-on, chemical-free approach that ensures superior taste and purity in every leaf.

The Wynnfarm difference: pure, potent, and pristine sage
What sets Wynnfarm apart is our unwavering commitment to a truly hands-on, chemical-free approach that prioritizes soil health and plant vitality above all else. After more than twenty years of experience, Connie Loyrangsy and Sanit Kaewlar have never once relied on synthetic pesticides or fertilizers. Instead, we use natural companion planting, careful crop rotation, and manual weed management to keep our sage thriving.

More than organic: a philosophy of daily, labor-intensive care
For us, organic farming is not just a certification or a marketing term; it is a daily, labor-intensive practice that requires constant observation and care. Every plant on our 15 acres is tended by hand, from planting to harvest. This personal attention, combined with our integrated system of growing Asian specialty crops like chili and bitter melon alongside sage, creates a balanced farm ecosystem where plants naturally support one another. Our sage tastes pure because it is grown pure.

From our fields to your table: the benefits of truly organic sage
Our organic farming practices benefit our customers directly in three key ways. First, because we never use synthetic pesticides or chemicals, you receive a cleaner, safer product—you can cook with it or brew it in teas without worrying about harmful residues. Second, our hands-on, soil-first approach produces sage with superior flavor and aroma; the essential oils are more concentrated, so a little of our sage goes a long way. Finally, our commitment to organic methods means you are supporting a farming system that protects the environment—healthier soil, cleaner water, and no chemical runoff.
Our daily dedication: walking the rows, nurturing the earth
A typical task that really shows our commitment to organic farming is our daily morning walk through both of our sage fields—all 15 acres across both locations. Every day, Connie and Sanit walk row by row, not just looking at the plants but actually inspecting each one up close. Because we don't use chemical pesticides, we have to catch any pest issues early, checking the undersides of leaves for aphids or spider mites. When we spot them, we don't spray poison—instead, we release beneficial insects like ladybugs or simply knock the pests off with a strong stream of water.
We also hand-pull every single weed that competes with our sage; it is slow, exhausting work, but it means our soil stays healthy and our sage gets all the nutrients naturally. What might take a conventional farmer five minutes with a sprayer takes us hours of physical labor. But when we hold a stem of our clean, aromatic sage at the end of the day, we know it was grown right. That daily walk, that hand-weeding, that personal attention—it's all part of the Wynnfarm promise.
